Christof Jaussi is a Swiss musician who earns his living as a live and studio drummer and drum teacher. Besides drumming, he is passionate about playing the piano, singing, and writing lyrics and songs.

Below you will find two lists. The first contains some of the most important gigs he had the pleasure of being part of (which is not to say that all the other gigs weren’t fun or meant nothing to him!) and the second lists bands and solo acts he had been lucky to share stages, studios, and rehearsal rooms with.

Concert venues: International Blues Challenge Memphis (Semi Finals with The Justina Lee Brown Band), European Blues Challenge Malmö (Second place with The Justina Lee Brown Band), Montreux Jazz Festival, Lit. Cologne, Lincoln Plaza Chicago, Eurosonic Groningen, Open Jazz Fest Nove Mesto/Slovakia, Frauenfeld Open Air, Gurtenfestival Bern, Open Air Gampel, Open Air St. Gallen, Blueballs Festival Luzern, Paléo Festival Nyon, Festineuch Neuchâtel, Expo 02, Heiteren Open Air Zofingen, Bundesplatz Bern, Uefa EURO 2018, Mühle Hunziken Rubigen, Turnhalle Bern, Volkshaus Zürich, Palais X-Tra Zürich, Reitschule Bern, Samsung Hall Zürich, Bierhübeli Bern, AMR Genève, Vallemaggia Magic Blues, Im Fluss Basel and Festhalle Bern

Bands and solo artists: Justina Lee Brown, Baze, Wurzel 5, Trummer, Lieblingslieder, Gross In Japan, Meira Loom, Chlyklass, Alexander Paeffgen Trio, Steff La Cheffe, Greis, Thomas D., Freda Goodlett, Gigi Moto, Nils Althaus, Serej, Zeno Tornado and the Boney Google Brothers, Fertighouse, Badwannepirate, Capitanio, Slam & Howie, K’daar, Brinkmanship, Dänu Brüggemann, Big Business, Simple Communication, Ro’s Blue, Linah Rocio, Climbing Tree, Constantin, Jump, Die Lobby, Nada Katana, Dali Shroj, Peter Finc, Marco Zappa, Mercury7, Rolf Luginbuehl, Andy Trinkler, Igors, Philippe Stalder and Heinz.

He considers himself lucky to have played in fourteen countries so far and looks forward to the upcoming shows at home and abroad. Chris as he’s fondly called is also grateful for a year of study at The Collective New York City (formerly known as Drummers Collective), which he was able to complete in 1997. There he had the unique opportunity to learn from several legendary drummers in a brief period. And a huge thanks to all his music, drum, and piano teachers in Switzerland! ‘He said’

Finally, the following will remain an honor for him for eternity: Since winter 2018, an edited version of ‘Hie’ by the Rap group ‘Wurzel 5’ with his drum tracks has been running as the team anthem for the 1st men’s football (soccer) team of BSC Young Boys. Thank you chaps, merci YB! ‘he say’s
